This hand-painted watercolour print of the Florence Duomo was painted in the Piazza del Duomo. I had dreamed about sitting in the square with an espresso, painting leisurely on a beautiful day, trying to trying to soak as many details as possible into my tiny little sketchbook!
On a rainy day in February, my dream came true and I sat in Piazza del Duomo (with an excellent slice of pizza) and watched the square buzz with people while I committed a perfect memory of Italy to paper.
Printed on 190gsm Bockingford cold press watercolour paper
Printed in my little studio in the heart of the Campsies, Scotland
Packaged in compostable cellophane and recyclable card envelope
Unframed print
