I’m Emma, and I love to paint.

My little home studio is nestled in the heart of the Campsie Hills where the changing colours of the Fells are a constant inspiration. It’s a daily reminder to pick up my sketchbook.

I try to capture fleeting moments, both at home and on my travels, in the hope they last forever in my sketchbook. I predominantly work in gouache and watercolour, and my colour palette often develops before the scene or composition. Colour remains my biggest inspiration.
