We ran in the rain through Hiroshima to try and get a seat at this perfect little Okonomiyaki shop. I loved the shopfront so much, I painted it on the train back to Kyoto, trying to capture the warmth of the lighting on such a rainy night. Painting on the Skinkansen was definitely an experience I won’t forget!
A print of a watercolour and gouache painting captured on location in my sketchbook
Printed on 190gsm Bockingford cold press watercolour paper
Printed in my little studio in the heart of the Campsies, Scotland
Packaged in compostable cellophane and recyclable card envelope
