The original painting was captured in Barcelona on a special trip with my best friend. We spent the afternoon in a beautiful rooftop bar in the centre of the city, admiring Antoni Gaudí’s masterpiece.
What a joy it was to paint the Sagrada en plein air with my favourite travel watercolours, I felt so inspired by the soaring spires and intricate forms of this world-famous basilica.
