"Mony a mickle makes a muckle" is a lovely Scots phrase meaning many small things make something much bigger, or as my mum would say "one bit at a time!".
An essential for anyone who loves sewing, quilting, traditional crafts or just wants a wee reminder that something beautiful can be made one small piece at a time.
I designed this print by hand on 300gsm watercolour paper. The quilting pattern is meticulously hand painting with pink and green artist gouache. The finishing touches are added digitally, bringing in the text and of course, the final stitches!
